The Pennine Trust is a vibrant, cross phase multi academy trust which was jointly established by three primary schools and one secondary school in 2018.
We are committed to providing fantastic opportunities for our young people, so that they can fulfil their aspirations now and in the future.
Our core values of ambition, respect and collaboration are fundamental to our approach and shape our culture. We believe establishing a strong culture is the most important ingredient for our success, so that we create an ideal environment for learning where all members of our trust community can flourish. Ambition for everyone to achieve their potential is central to this culture, so that everyone is expected to do their very best and strive for excellence.
Our trust should be rooted in our community. Many local families have an association with our schools across many years and even generations. Deep relationships help us to develop knowledge and understanding of the community and to form effective partnerships with other institutions. These partnerships support holistic development of young people.
I am privileged to work with a very dedicated and talented team of professionals. This team has high aspirations both for this trust and for what can be achieved in partnership with all other organisations who are determined to improve the life chances of all young people locally.
The Pennine Trust has a strong commitment and approach to school support and to development of people at all levels of the organisation. We are fully involved in the delivery of ITT and ‘Golden Thread CPD’, and have formed effective partnerships with key providers, including NIoT and Star Teaching School Hub.
I hope this website gives you a flavour of our Trust and each of our schools, as well as details of how to contact me or other members of our team should you wish to know more or are interested in collaborating with us in any capacity.
The Pennine Trust, South Craven Trust and Pendle Vale College are proposing to join together to form a new multi-academy trust. To read more about this and to take part in the consultation process, please visit our dedicated webpage.
We wish all our staff, pupils, parents and everyone else in our school communities a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
