The Trust Central Team provides the core business functions to ensure that the Trust complies with its statutory responsibilities and supports the operations and educational performance of our academies.
The team operates under the leadership of the CEO; working with staff and Governors in schools to ensure that the required outcomes and priorities of the Trust are achieved in accordance with the Trust’s Mission and strategic priorities as agreed by the Trust Board.
Alan O'Reilly
Chief Financial Officer
Alan oversees all aspects of finance, facilities, IT and human resources for the trust. He advises the board on all financial matters and ensures the trust is compliant with the Academy Trust Handbook. Alan has 20 years of experience in education finance and has worked in schools, colleges and funding bodies. He trained as a CIMA accountant in the financial services sector in Dublin before moving to north-west England. He is an accredited School Resource Management Advisor (SRMA) and an advocate for using Integrated Curriculum and Financial Planning (ICFP) in schools. Alan is a strong believer in the trust’s values, in particular, he believes that collaboration is the key to achieving the trust’s aims over the coming years.
